All roads lead to NYFW, but the road doesn't have to stop there! #SMWiFashion kicks off on February 18th, and you're invited to witness an interactive panel of indie fashion professionals discuss best practices on how to keep the conversations going well after the smoke of the runways have cleared. The panel will be immediately followed by a networking mixer like noneother. The fashion showroom of the emerging menswear line IM Biltwell  is our meeting spot for a night of practical information in a fun networking environment. Come one, come all, and build with us. We just ask that you don't be fashionably late. This is going to be a debut event to bookmark for years to come!

According to a popular infographic by Mashable.com, "Social Media is Making over the Fashion Industry"! Furthermore, the latest Census data proves that growth and spending power in multicultural markets is tremendous. #SMWiFashion is an interactive panel & networking event targeted at small fashion business owners, entrepreneurial fashion bloggers, and/or fashion marketing strategists who are seeking more practical ways to market to multicultural audiences via social media. Coordinated by Lisa Marie "Phoenix" Jackson, the panel consists of a variety of speakers from the fashion/social media field who will discuss the development of strategic campaigns that embrace growth populations, creating brand advocates, and more! After the discussion there will be a one hour mixer with music spun by DJ Olivia Dope & liquor provided by a leading beverage brand.

**Check-in for the event begins at 6PM EST and the panel promptly kicks off at 7PM EST sharp!

Featuring an expert panel of social media influencers in the indie fashion industries, we will discuss best practices for multicultural marketing.
Topics to be covered will include:
- How to develop strategic campaigns that embrace growth populations as the new "general market" for lasting brand growth
- Leveraging multicultural data, analysis, market identification, and appropriate messaging to create content that sticks and motivates consumers to not only support your business, but further love the skin they are in
- Serving as an informative resource based on sharing what your brand loves and to not be perceived as just a product placement ad in motion
- Creating brand advocates through your following that permits you to have practical conversations, gather feedback, and better understand the voice of your customers

The panel will be highly interactive and has dedicated social pages across media, a digital presentation scheduled to kick off the panel, plus their will also be a live Twitter feed on-site to illustrate the posts of those using the twitter hashtag throughout the night. Individuals who are not on-site will be able to submit questions prior to the event via social media for moderation inclusion and during for selection towards the post panel Q&A.
